You can doublecheck the settings by going to the Scope Options on the DHCP server and look to see which IP address is set for 006 DNS servers. You do need to make sure that the domain controllers and the clients are all on the same network segment -- for example, 192.168.1.0 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
