Arch Linux Enlightenment Cannot Initialize Ecore_x
As you may know, I'm pretty experienced with E17, so I don't have much questions, other than repo-questions. In order to make the Developer Regatta more interesting it should have a prize pool. If it's based on VNC or what I don't care, but it needs to work. I could swear I upgraded my packages for the new filesystem package, not sure though. weblink

I tried the LXDE-session that came with the install of LXDM and that one works fine with both Elsa and LXDM, so it's definetly not an X-problem. Verified composite was enabled, changed driver from Intel 810 and later to xorg intel.
According to the docs I found it should be enough (for systemd-users) to go to a TTY, login and run enlightenment_start. ooooh. You're making judgments based on incomplete information. Now, the filesystem errors, do you have the right mirror for my repository?
The time now is 06:03 PM. But the "old" Enlightenment still function fine onmy Computer so that a update is in moment not necessary. You should type startx. That should start twm and show 3 xterm and a clock, if you have installed them.
Member Posts: 381 PCLinuxOS Rocks! Having ability to run remote applications easily is a killer feature in X11 and I use at least twice-weekly. so dont disable x. It may be that you do not have an X Server already running to serve that display connection, or that you do not have permission to connect to that display.
